Surf Zone Santa Maria is an independent school attached to the Morabeza beach club. One of the best hotels on the island it is ideal for all ages. The beach in front of the school is perfect for water sports as well as lounging, swimming and playing.

The beach club has a resturtant with the most spectacular view on the island, as well as a bar, bathroom, shower and beach loungers.

RIU HOTEL

Surf Zone Riu is located in the all inclusive 5star Riu hotel. For those wanting all inclusive then the Riu is the place to go. It is located 20min from Santa Maria and on the west coast. Although there is very little around it, the hotel itself provides for everything.

This is also a perfect location for more intermediate/advanced windsurfers and kitesurfers wanting to come with family. As you can windsurf and kitesurf right in front of the beach area where family and friends can lounge while you are on the water.
