WIND SURF RENTALS (riu)

The Surf Zone Riu is located in one of the best windsurfing spots on the island, especially for more intermediate and advanced windsurfers. It is located 500meters from the world famous Punta Preta, home of world class waves. The wind here is the strongest of all windsurfing school spots on the island.

Wind Conditions:
Dec to May stronger side off  winds (avg. 20-26knots). Conditions are perfect for more intermediate and advanced wind surfers. Flat water and strong winds provide perfect conditions for those wind surfers wanting to speed sail, jibe or free style.

Outside of the Bay condition become more wavey. The spot is also 500meters from the World Famous Punta Preta, for experienced windsurfers wanting to wave ride.

June to November wind tends to be lighter winds (avg 12-16knots). Conditions are more ideal for beginner to intermediate wind surfers.
