The SurfCenter is located directly in front of the Hotel Morabeza in the south of Santa Maria about 50 meter from the water. Mattresses, umbrellas, fresh water showers and a Beach Club which serves drinks snacks and complete meals is present.

The Bay of Santa Maria is a 5 km long sandy beach with no rocks or sharp objects. The wind blows slightly offshore at the beginning of the bay and becomes slightly onshore at the end. That, the water temprature of average 80 degrees Fahrenheit and the sandy bottom offers a very safe location for all levels from beginner to experts. The most consistent wind months are from November to June. Naturally a safety boat is always ready for any emergency.
