Surf Zone Cabo Verde offers the latest range in quality rental equipment: from beginner to advanced. With TWO locations from which windsurfers can wind surf from, Surf Zone is perfect for windsurfers wanting it all: Access to three of the best waves spots on the island, Flat Water, Side-Off and Side-On Wind or a seculded bay area in which to learn to wind surf.
The Bay of Santa Maria where the Surf Zone Morabeza is located is perfect for beginner and intermediate windsurfers. There is a small bay in front of the school, where beginners can feel safe to practise thier new found windsurf skills. Once you move outside the bay the wind becomes stronger. In the strong wind months, this location is also great for advanced windsurfers wanting to access the wave spots at both ends of the bay.

· We have a Wide Range of North and Ezzy sails. Sails range in size from 2.5 to 8.5, with super lite sails in the middle range for beginners.
· Boards: Mix of Fantatic and Angulo boards (73ltr to 220ltr)

When launching from the Bay in front of the school, the windsurfer has many options. You can surf downwind to Punta Sineo and play in the very likable waves. You can plane up wind to lembje and take advantage of the mix of flat and wavey waters and then do a down-winder back to the school.
Or you can leave the Bay in front of the school and enjoy the rolling waves or flat water (depending on the day). The team is always happy to lend advise about areas to windsurf, size of sail and board, as well as hang out and have a beer at the end of day.
As the island of Sal offers a wide range of windsurfing spots along the west coast, windsurfers are welcome to take the equipment to other locations on the island.
To ensure quality service and maximum access to a range of sail and board sizes, Surf Zone limits the amount of weekly rentals. For those clients with long term rentals, the school offers 1hour free use of avaliable body boards and surf boards on days with absolutely no wind.
The launch area in front of the school is a sandy bottom with no rocks or reefs. On days with shore break we offer assistance in and out of the water.
