We came to Sal as a family of 5 for kitesurfing and we were nicely surprised by the well organized kite school of Rod and Sheena. Every single teacher of the team Sidney, Roni, Harmen, Chu..they never run out of enthousiam to help and to improve.
My girls were independent already on the water but they always kept an eye on them what made me feel more free to learn and progress myself.

Wir waren Mitte April bei Rod und Sheena. Nach mehreren Versuche an anderen Spots kiten zu lernen hat es auf Sal endlich funktioniert: Wind war immer genügend, die Kitelehrer haben sich auf die Schüler konzentriert und die nötige Sicherheit auch bei 8bft gegeben. Alle Schüler wurden sehr individuell betreut, sodass alle auch bei starken Bedingungen sicher fahren lernen konnten. Die Kiteschule und deren Inhaber sind ausgespochen fair und flexibel (was ich von anderen Orten nicht behaupten kann...). Wir werden wiederkommen! Lugano

 

We had a great with Surf Zone and their whole team during our 10-days stay on Sal. The only really bad part was that we had to leave when some strong winds were just forecasted. Sheena, Rod, and their team made us enjoy our time as an experienced as well as intermediate windsurfer, and taught us very efficiently and effectively how to kite surf. Having stayed at many different spots around the world, and checked different ones on Sal, I definitely recommend them. Thanks again to the whole team. Dan

 

I went to Sal island with my 6 best friends in February 2016.
We were all beginers and we needed a good school to start.
We found exactly what we were looking for with Surf Zone.
Everyone were so nice to us, so concern with us improving and having fun.
We added more lessons everyday until we had to go back home...
We learnt how to ride off course, but how to look cool doing so. :)
All the team made our trip to Sal unforgettable and we wanted to thank them again.
I recommand the school and the island ! Ludovic

 

Je suis venue avec mon fils de 17 ans.Il a suivi les cours de kitesurf très professionnels et était super content car en fin de semaine a pu pratiquer ce sport correctement.
Pour ma part, j'ai adoré les cours de yoga donnés par Sheena.Ce sont les meilleurs cours que j'ai suivis jusqu'à présent .
Bref un séjour mémorable que je ne manquerais pas de renouveler l'année prochaine .

I have to say I wasn't planning to take kite surfing lessons when coming to CV but these guys make it look so cool. So I decided to take a shot at it just to say ok, been there. But after a first lesson I really wanted to go back for more. Rod, Sheena and all the instructors know their stuff and they want you to enjoy the experience! I took 2 half days lessons and made quick progress (didn't I?) well, almost got on the board at the end...
Also worth mentioning, unless you come from some remote place in Buthan, they will probably speak your language.
In short, great fun, cool people and good value for money. Go for it! Geoffrey

 

Sheena et son équipe sont très professionnels. Le matériel pour les cours est d'excellente qualité (Bandit et Core kite 2015) et l'enseignement est réellement assuré par petit groupe (2 généralement). En bref une équipe très pro. Les spots pour débuter ne sont pas faciles surtout si il y a du vent ce qui entraine des vagues importantes. Mais les règles de sécurité sont respectées et les spots choses en fonction du vent (notamment Kitebeach). Bon vent. Guillaume
